A-PAD Philippines and CDRC representatives joined the A-PAD International Symposium on January 19 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Indonesian National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, PLANAS, hosted the symposium with the theme “The Way Forward: Public-Private Partnerships in Disaster Risk Management”. Delegates from A-PAD regional platforms in Japan, Korea, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Indonesia discussed the future of Public-Private partnership in disaster preparedness and response.
